Ram Laddu – a street food delicacy from the popular delhi street food cuisine. Laddus are normally sweet in taste, but Ram Laddus are salty and sour. They are served with green chutney and grated radish. It is made of dough balls of moong dal, which is packed with proteins, fibre and some other vital nutrients. Moong Dal is the lightest of all dals, so you can hog on the dish as much as you want. Even though, the moong dal fritters are fried first, they are soaked in water later, which washes away most of the oil. So, you get squidgy and airy non-oily pakodas. Dress the pakodas with tangy chutneys and coriander leaves and treat yourself with a plate of chaat just the way you get on the city’s streets.
