In this video we will learn how to make Natural Homemade Food color recipe.This is an organic and natural method for making gel food colors from vegetables. These food colors can be used cakes, pastries, frosting, dessert etc. Compared to the food color powder, the gel food color produces easier dissolving and uniform coloration. Once prepared, these food colors can be stored in the refrigerator for about 3 months.
Fruits, vegetables and spices have a strong pigment which is what makes them perfect for Homemade Food Coloring.

Sources for natural colorings can be found all over the place, and many may already be in your pantry or fridge. More on how to turn these ingredients into food coloring below, but here are my favorite sources for certain colors.
Green: spinach
Red: beetroot, tomato
Yellow: saffron, turmeric
Purple: red cabbage, black grapes, blueberries, purple sweet potato
Blue: red cabbage + baking soda
Pink: red cabbage + leman, strawberries, raspberries
Orange: carrots, paprika, sweet potato
Brown: coffee, tea, cocoa
